It’s easy to hide in church, even in a little church.
Sometimes it takes time to heal and build trust before we begin to build relationships with others. Relationships, however, are the best way to experience who Jesus Christ is in person. Since Christ lives in his followers, we get to benefit from other’s connection with him. So, it is our hope that you don’t stay on the edges too long before you decide to dip your toe in the water of community.
What are the opportunities to get to know others?
Genesis offers community groups which meet in homes in the evenings. These groups are the best place to ask questions about the Sunday message or Christianity in general. Each group is a little different, but always fun, encouraging, and always with some snacks. We currently have groups that meet on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday Nights. Great friendships are formed in these!

The Sunday Service is not designed to build deep relationships. It is, however, a perfect time to make connections and get to know others on a first name basis. Stick around after church to have a cup of coffee and say hi to a few people.
We meet on Thursday at 7 AM building comrade as well as to study our Bible and pray. Everyone is welcome, and the environment is casual. We meet in the Fireside room. This is a great way to get to know other men in the church!
