Brad Bruszer is the founding pastor of Genesis Church
Born in Michigan, and raised on the west coast, Brad became a Christian when he was six at the church where his father was the pastor. Being raised in a Christian home, Brad was always in church, but at a camp when he was fifteen made a commitment to Christ, which has led him into ministry.
After High School Brad attended Grace Bible College where he earned his degree in theology. It was also at GBC that Brad met his wife, Vikki, and they were married shortly after graduation.
Brad served as a youth pastor at Berean Bible Church in the Spokane Valley for five years before moving to Alabama. For close to six years, he was the lead pastor in Mobile, AL at Grace Bible Church. From there Brad & Vikki came back to the inland northwest to start Genesis Church.
Brad & Vikki have been married for 12 years, and have three children; Audren, Hudson, & Gracyn

Ryan Armstrong – Worship Leader
Having grown up the son of a pastor, Ryan Armstrong developed a passion for ministry at a young age. His passion for music developed soon after, as he began to learn to play guitar and joined a church worship team here in Spokane, WA.
It was late in high school when Ryan felt called to pursue worship and music ministry as a career. It was also late in high school when Ryan met his wife Alison. They were married in July of 2010, and will be welcoming their first daughter early this summer.
God has opened many doors for Ryan to use his musical gifts, one of which is a local Christian band, Drawing Two. The band has had the opportunity to play at many local venues, as well as youth camps.
In September of 2010, God opened another door as Ryan began to lead worship at Genesis Church. He has successfully started a worship team and continues to use his passion for ministry and music to create an inviting and comfortable environment for worship on Sunday mornings.
Ryan will be graduating from Eastern Washington University this spring with a Bachelor Degree in Music Liberal Arts. He is excited to see how God will use him in the future at Genesis Church and anywhere else He may lead.
Chase Baxter – Student Ministries
My name is Chase Baxter and I am a graduate of West Valley High School and Spokane Community College. I am currently taking online Bible courses in an attempt to get my BA in Biblical Theology. I currently work full time at Red Robin in the Spokane Valley. I am engaged to a beautiful girl named Breanna and we are planning on getting married this summer. Some of my favorite activities include; Tennis, hanging out at Wake Up Call and studying, playing Ping Pong, meeting new people, and any other fun activity that I get invited to! Gordy Reynolds – Children’s Ministry
I was born in Spokane but spent much of my childhood in Kalispell, MT before returning to Spokane as a sophomore in high school. I received Jesus Christ 9 years ago and have since been striving to follow the path he lays before me. I am married to my beautiful wife Sally and I have 4 amazing children Samantha, Joshua, Kaitlynn, and Hailey. I have been with Genesis church from the time they opened their doors, and currently lead the children’s ministry. I love to spend time with kids and share with them the love that Jesus has for each and every one of them. I also enjoy talking with parents who, like me, are striving to be the teachers in their own family that God calls us to be.
